Skills and capability in digital are at the heart of the success of any digital transformation from the boardroom leaders understanding and resourcing their own re-education to the introduction of agile behaviours throughout organisations and our communities having the basic skills to engage with these new public services.
Following the stage discussion we will debate the topic on tables before feeding back to the stage.
3.15pm Keynote from Cameron Stewart, Head of ppm product development, axelos
Cameron Stewart is the Head of PPM Product Development at AXELOS, the “Home of Best Practice”. His portfolio includes PRINCE2, PRINCE2 Agile, Managing Successful Programmes, Management of Risk, P3O, the P3M3 model and assessments, Management of Value, and Management of Portfolios.
Cameron is responsible for incorporating the latest real-world knowledge and understanding into the Best Practice suite of PPM products, ensuring that AXELOS remains the market-leader in management guidance, accreditation and certifications.
3.25pm panel discussion - Holly Ellis, Director of Capability, GDS
Holly Ellis has over 18 years experience in the digital industry, creating and delivering transformation strategies and initiating and delivering digital services, specifically for the public sector.
Before joining the Government Digital Service (GDS) in April 2017 to lead the cross government strategy for the Digital, Data and Technology profession, Holly was interim Chief Operating Officer for Digital, Data and Technology at the Home Office. Before this she was the Deputy Director for Digital Delivery at the Home Office, managing a portfolio of digital projects.

Helen Milner OBE is the CEO of Good Things Foundation, the UK’s leading digital inclusion charity, working with 5,000 hyper-local community partners. They have helped over 2 million people to improve their lives and make the most of technology. She has over 30 years’ experience working in online education.
